There is a Hallock's Scratch and Dent in West Haven. It's off exit 44 on 95 S.

My experience with Hallock's is they are very over priced.
I could get a brand new appliance from sears for what they wanted for some of the damaged ones.

mer - forget about it, it's not worth it.

Theres one in newington (sears)
one in wallinford (multi brand)
and the one in west haven.

We went to all of them, and the deals are NO GOOD. You get no warranty, no delivery, etc - and the prices MIGHT be like 10% off. Wait for a sale and get new ones, or take your chances and buy used out of the bargain news.

to add..

when we were at the one in wallingford, the prices were exactly the same price as new ones were. so as we were leaving the aggressive saleslady asked if she could help, I said, no, your prices are the same as new.. she just kind of smiled and pushed us towards to door.

I got a nice dishwasher, side by side fridge, and over the range microwave, all stainless steel for $1700 - delivered, then I got a $400 rebate. This was from home depot.

We all know that we get the best rates for our house hold appliances at a store. But what do we do with the existing scratches and dents that we find on the appliances that we paid those nice dollars for. If the thought of scratches and dents have been worrying you for so long and if you have been wondering about ways to become your neighbors' new envy, then it is time that you read the following step by step guide that will show you the best ways to deal with those minor problems that come with the appliances.
